Join Movement for Choice and Kristen Zory King for a poetry hike through Rock Creek and experience the joy of creativity in motion. Together, we'll wander through three(ish) miles of winding trails, stopping frequently to share poems with one another as well as to spend time in creative reflection and journaling. Bring comfortable clothing, your favorite poem (or two! or three!) to share, and a notebook to jot down inspiration from the trees, the sky, and one another.
*We will meet outside of Ellē (3221 Mt Pleasant St NW) at 12:00pm and then head to the Rock Creek Park entrance off of 17th St. Kris will be in touch ahead of time with more details, including rain date if applicable. Please note: there are a few steep hills in the trail and a signed waiver is required. Please email kristenzoryking (at) gmail (dot) com with questions or for more information.
